Whether you plan to travel to Langkawi by road, air, or sea, you will be in for a scenic treat of the island’s natural beauty. For your convenience, we are providing you with all the possible modes of entry to our island paradise!

By Road

For those travelling anywhere from the mainland to Langkawi, you should head over to the ferry jetty terminal in Kuala Kedah or the one in Kuala Perlis. Exit at Alor Setar Selatan if you’re on the North South Expressway and follow the ample signages along the way. The journey from Kuala Lumpur will take approximately 6 hours.

Private car parks in the vicinity of the jettys are available at the minimum cost of RM15.00 per day. Vehicles can also be cargoed over to the island.
There are also bus services daily from all major towns in Malaysia and Singapore. Please contact your local bus companies for details.

By Sea

Get a head start with the sea breeze! Take a ferry ride.

For those of you travelling in by sea, there are 2 ferry terminals available for you to make the crossing to the island, Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis. There are also terminals in Thailand at Satun and Penang.
